2021 Season Results
The Pope Greyhounds wrapped up a successful 2021 season with grit and determination!
The team finished the regular season undefeated at Home, with an overall record of 39-8.
After beating Sprayberry and Allatoona to start the Region Playoffs, Varsity won the Region Championship in a come-from-behind thriller at home over Kennesaw Mountain.
In the State Playoffs, the Greyhounds took wins over Lanier, Effingham County, and Lakeside before playing in the Semi-Finals, where they lost a close match in 5 sets to Buford (which later won the state title)
JV finished their season by taking 2 of 3 consecutive, grueling matches against rival Walton to win the Cobb County Championship.
After the JV season ended, 4 players joined Varsity for the Regional and State Playoffs: Sophomore Bella Jessop (#15) and Freshmen Sarah Trowbridge (#7), Amanda Vlkovic (#5), and AC Wright (#12).
